Not below 5oC or above 30oC. In hot weather, dampen the background adequately and cure the work by applying a light water mist several times for a period of 72hours.Protect work from adverse weather conditions until the finishing coat is applied and fully cured.
All surfaces must be sound, clean, suitably dry and free of any material which may impair adhesion. Do not apply on clay walls, Cob or supports with not enough resistance. The installation of a metal mesh on salt’s weakened substrate is recommended. For internal application, such as Cellars, Basements etc. An adequate CMV (Continuous Movement Ventilation)
system must be installed in order to maintain the appropriate relative humidity. If dubbing out is required, use TRADI HC™ SP MORTAR, other mortars not allowed.
Mix TRADI HC™ SP MORTAR with 5-6 litres of clean water in a render spray machine (progressive cavity pump) for 5 to 8 minutes.
1,2 kgs/m2 per mm thickness.
TRADI HC™ SP MORTARr should be applied by spray machine or by hand for small areas.
Spray in one or two passes (maximum within 24 hours). 20 to 30 mm of TRADI HC™ SP MORTAR.
The surface must be ruled, scratched after sufficient drying. The mortar must be cured at least for 2 weeks.
TRADI HC™ SP MORTAR can remain with its raw finish or it can be covered by a scratched or float skim coat such as TRADI HC ™ LC FINISH or TEREFINISH. It can also be coloured by a pigmented Limewash.
Recommendation:Before starting, always try on a small test area.
